Fourth May: Teacher’s Appreciation Day 2010 Teacher Appreciation Day 2010 is celebrated on 4th of May in many parts of the world. Teacher Appreciation Day 2010 is the day of paying homage to Teachers for their superior services of nation building. In some parts of the world, a whole weak is dedicated to teachers called as Teacher’s Appreciation Week. In many parts of the world, teacher’s appreciation weeks is being observed from 3rd of May to 7th of May.

This week is a great opportunity for students to pay tribute to their teachers who revolutionize their lives and transform them in to useful human beings. The teacher’s appreciation week is the week of celebrations and festivities. On teacher’s appreciation day, students who love their teachers use their creativity and devise plans to surprise their teachers with their appreciative modes of communication.
Different schools have different modes of observing this day or week. Most schools observe 4th may as the Teacher’s Day. On this day, students organize different events where there is an active participation of students and teachers.

Teacher’s Day has another purpose to serve: to enhance the level of motivation in the teachers to impart quality education. This day provides opportunity to students to come closer to their teachers and bridge the gap with them that leads to better feedback from students to teachers and they become enlightened how to improve their teaching skills. So the teacher’s appreciation day is actually the recognition as well acknowledgement of the noble services of teachers.
