CBI arrests Gujarat BJP corporator in Sohrabuddin case

The CBI on Tuesday made another arrest in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case. The owner of the farmhouse where Sohrabuddin Sheikh's wife Kausar Bi was kept before being killed, has been arrested. The Arham Farms belongs to Jirawala, who is a BJP corporator from Sabarmati constituency.
On Monday, there were reports of former deputy superintendent of police MK Amin turning an approver against former Gujarat junior Home Minister Amit Shah. Amin is an eyewitness to the killings of both Sohrabuddin and Kauser.
Amin had reportedly brought the body of Kauser Bi from Arham Farms outside Ahmedabad to Illol village, the home village of IPS officer and former DGP DG Vanzara.
Meanwhile, BJP MP and eminent lawyer Ram Jethmalani has accused the CBI of leaking to the media details of the charge sheet against former Gujarat Minister Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin encounter case.
"The accused does not have the charge sheet but the media has it. This is the CBI's design," Jethmalani, who is providing legal assistance to Shah, alleged.
He said excerpts of the charge sheet were being carried in newspaper reports everyday but Shah had still not been provided with a copy.
