In a fresh warning, theUS government has warned India and Pakistan against a terrorist attack. US said that they have “credible evidence” that terrorists may be planning terror attacks in India and Pakistan at public places used by citizens in India, Pakistan and Middle East. United States warned and asked them to be alert and take precautionary measures.In a “Caution” issued yesterday, the government said that they have continuously received evidence of terrorist attacks in South and Central Asia including India and Pakistan at the regions of interest of US Government and its citizens.
US external affairs state department said, “In India, terrorists have targeted public places including restaurants, mosque, hotels, trains, markets, cinemas etc. The threat against these is not over and recent reports states that terrorist may be planning attacks here once again.”
Presence of al-Qaida, Taliban, LeT elements and other terrorist organization, in the region possesses potential danger to US citizens. The state departmentalso said that a number of al-Qaida operatives and other extremists are believed to be operating in and around Africa.
