Sharad Pawar becomes ICC President

sharad pawar 300 250x300 Sharad Pawar becomes ICC PresidentFormer BCCI President,Sharad Pawar has been formally named as the International Cricket Council (ICC) President on Thursday a shot while ago. Sharad Pawar has been on the top position for Highest Cricket Organization in India i.e. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), will now hold the highest position in World’s highest Cricket Organization i.e. ICC. He’ll take over from David Morgan as the ICC chief.
With this position Pawar becomes second Indian to head the ICC after Jagmohan Dalmiya.
Sharad Pawar currently holds the position of Union Health Minister now has the top job in hand as the Asian Sub-Continent countries to host 2011 Cricket World Cup.
Born on December 12, 1940, in Pune, Maharashtra, Shayad Pawar founded Nationlist Congress Party in 1999. He has been in the Central Government Ministry from many years. He has been on the position of Defence Minister of India, Chief Minister of Maharashtra etc. He currently holds the position of as Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India.
