New York City is going to host the annual Aids Walk for the year 2010 on March 16. The walk would start at 10a.m. and will commence for the whole day. For those who want to take part in the walk should reach the point of origin of the walk before 8:30a.m., because at that time the registration process would start. At 9 in the morning the aerobic warm up would start andthe walk would start at 10 in the morning.
The donations made for the Aids Walk would go to the GMHC which is the greatest HIV/Aids prevention and care advocacy. The Aids Walk has been going on for 25 years and during that time the cause has raised more than 110 million dollars which have been used for awareness, prevention and fighting Aids in theNew York City. This month the cause is expecting to nearly raise 5 million dollars. The main purpose of the walk is to raise awareness in the people of New York, America and the world about the threat of Aids.
