Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh reshuffle cabinet ministers today. In the new Cabinet of Prime Minister Shri Prakash Jaiswal, Praful Patel and Salman Khurshid has been made Cabinet Ministers. Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy has been given Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Telecommunications and human resource development ministry to remain intact with Kapil Sibal.
Ajay Maken and KV Thomas becomes Minister of State (Independent Charge) and Beni Prasad Verma becomes the new Minister of State (Independent Charge).
Sharad Pawar has left Food and Civil Supplies Ministry of Consumer but he retained as Minister of Agriculture while he will also be the in-charge of thefood processing industry.
